We have not noticed a large increse in the number of monarchs at school. However, our secretary said her daughter ran into a huge amount on Monday, October 1 while driving across the Causeway Bridge over Lake Pontchartrain. The Lake is north of New Orleans. So maybe the monarchs flew north of New Orleans.
