We have tagged 35 Monarchs this year. This is my first year to tag. It
is also our first year to have a school butterfly garden. I have been
raising Monarchs from eggs for approximately 10 years. I find eggs for
each student and we observe the metamorphosis.

We just found black swallowtail caterpillars in our garden. How can I
find out more about them? How soon will it be before they
hatch? Where/how do they winter?
