Our second grade class planted their red emporer tulip bulbs as specified. We used the rubric to determine the site, soil was turned, and then each student carefully measured their own holes to plant their bulb. We added vermicompost and bone meal to soil to cover the bulb. Each student is also taking home one bulb to plant in experiemental situations. We planted 21 bulbs in the garden, students took home 21, and we are planted 8 more in experimental sites around the school.
