I tagged two more monarchs today that I had chrysalises. It was a pair and I think this will probably be the last ones of the year. I also tagged a pair yesterday and released them for the trip to Mexico. We have had some very cold weather(~19 degrees) and I had to wait for a warm day to release them.

The Common Milkweed is releasing "Santa Clauses" (seeds and down) in the air.It was very windy today and the yard was full of milkweed seeds.

Also saw clouded sulfur butterflies today.
