My students have the daily task of taking water out to our bird and butterfly baths in the butterfly garden here at Stewart. We had not seen any monarchs for a week. Monday the two students watering reported three Monarchs in the garden, every day after we have seen very big, untattered butterflies, 2 or 3 at a time. This morning I saw one very big one and then, was surprised to see another that had just emerged from a chrysalis.
