Mrs. Swentzel's class planted their emperor red tulips today. It was a warm day for the middle of Oct. The temperature reached 70 degrees early this afternoon, while we were planting. The clouds were rolling in and we were glad to get the bulbs in the ground, because it sure looked like rain. We look forward to their growing into lovely plants in the spring.
