The Causeway Bridge connecting Mandeville with
Metairie, Louisiana over Lake Pontchartrain is
a significant Monarch migration route. This
afternoon I counted 54 determined Monarchs
accompanying me on the 24 mile trip south over
the choppy water. This count is down from
last friday (124) on the same route.
