Sixty second graders planted their tulip bulbs on September 12, 2001. It was a beautiful warm fall day and the children were a little surprized how deep seven inches actually was. We carefully placed each bulb four inches apart. The students are very excited and can't wait until the spring. One concerned second grader asked "How will the tulip bulbs stay warm all winter?" This prompted a discussion session. We would like to send a picture of the students gathered around their tulip bed.
