Our class planted 30 bulbs in an area which should allow the tulips to grow in a very natural Colorado environment.
Our soil was very hard clay, so we had to add top soil and peat moss to make a better garden. The garden is on the top of a ridge where sunlight can reach our garden from all directions. It is away from the school buildings and playground.
