Our bulbs are weighed and measured and planted at the right depth. We also planted some rows too deep and some too shallow. The whole thing is under chicken wire to avoid a skunk digging them out like 1999 AND under a large cage so we can see them bloom before the deer get them like 2000 and 2001.
