Here at Litwin Elementary School, we have completed the planting of our tulip garden on October 23, 2001. Each of the 450 students and staff planted a bulb in our garden. The students chose a heart shaped garden design, calling it the Litwin School Peace Garden, in memory of those who lost their lives on September 11th. Looking forward to the emergence of the tulips in the spring gives us all a renewed sense of hope for peace in the world.
