Betsy Hawes, a friend and retired teacher from our school, came to help us plant our tulips. Her husband George prepared the bed for us, and without the two of them we probably would never have managed to put our thoughts into action! It was a beautiful sunny mild day for November, and it was a great lesson in measuring and cooperation. We'll keep you posted in the spring! Sincerely, Jane Groves and the Taft 112 2nd graders!
