We picked the best spot that we could for our garden using the garden rubric from Journey North. Our tulip garden is not that close to the building. It is next to a fence behind the school. We had a few sprinkles during the planting, but we managed to get all the bulbs planted. We did dig up lots of rocks when we were planting. We also found lots of worms and bugs when we were planting. We had lots of fun. The tulip bulbs were funny looking. A couple of bulbs were planted in other locations to test how the tulips would bloom in sites that did not meet the criteria for a garden selection. This is a fun project to do in science.
