Small groups of robins appeared here around Nov. 15. Over this weekend, I have seen several flocks of 50-100 or more robins feasting on pyrocantha, toyon and other berries in the yards of our suburban community. Cedar waxwings, and brown towhees have joined them. Flocks of warblers and Oregon juncos seem to be passing through. Judging from last year, the flocks of robins were hang around the San Rafael area and surround wooded hills until February or March.
