We planted our bulbs outside in an area that we cleared near the office of our middle school. Each student planted 2 bulbs...1 bulb vertically and the other either sideways or pointing down. We labeled the bulbs with name an arrow indicating the direction that the bulb was planted. In CT we have had unseasonably warm weather. We still haven't had a real hard freeze.
