Hello from Southwest Arkansas. Today is Friday, January 4, 2002. The day started out sunny and cold, but has become cloudy and cooler after lunch. The students at Kilpatrick are still on Christmas break, but we had four brave volunteers come help us plant our tulips. We planted fifty Red Emperor tulips seven inches deep with a layer of compost at the bottom. We covered them with more compost and soil from the planting site. We will be watching for them to appear in the spring.
