I was driving home this evening, and thought gee i need to start looking for the red wing blackbirds. So I look over where I usually see the first ones and there was a whole flock of them on the reeds where I first see them....I was shocked, since this seems sooooo early. I turned the car around and sent back and stopped and yep, it was the blackbirds and I stopped to listen to that great sound of Spring.
