I truly believe it
was a robin that I heard singing! It was during a strange warm spell in
January, the robin was heard at about 7:00 am, and I heard what appeared to
be only one. However, I have not heard the song any more that day or any day
since. I was so startled and excited I wanted to report it right away.
Neighbors and friends have also commented on hearing Robins in the morning
but I have only heard the one. An interesting sidenote is that we found
crickets and even a salamander under a rock in our garden that same week.
