Today our class observed our tulips emerging from the ground. We planted our tulips in November. We think that because we have had a mild winter with very warm temperatures. Yesterdays high for Sumter was 78 degrees which very unusual for the end of Jaunary. Hopefully we will not have a freeze, which would proably ruin the flowers.
