Our weather has been unseasonably warm with a good mix of rainy and sunny days. The tulips have emerged much earlier than we expected. We planted 30 beds with about 20 bulbs in each. Some beds have as many as 7 green shoots, some only one or two, and some have none. Of the beds with shoots, some were mulched and others had no mulch. Temperatures are dropping from the 70's into the low 50's today and the sun is shining brightly. The next big question: How long until they bloom?!
