Monarch Adult Sighted

Hi!
I am a volunteer at the Pismo Beach State Park Monarch Grove. We have monarchs here overwintering every year. Located almost exactly halfway between LA and SF, the central coast is an ideal spot for the monarchs. This year we estimate there are between 50 and 60 thousand. On Feb. 4th when I last worked, at 11:00am they were ALL flying and many mating. It was quite a sight. We expect them to start leaving by the end of the month.
