On January 11th I saw 12 robins in my backyard searching for food. The day was a mild winter day. On Jan. 16 I counted 30 robins in my yard and in the trees. This was another mild winter day. These robins were light in breast not dark as I have seem some other winters when spotting robins early in the year.
