Saturday morning I opened my back door and looked toward our pond and saw a huge Blue Heron, the ice had melted because of warm temperatures the last couple of days and it looked like he was fishing, this is a sure sign of spring. This Blue Heron has visited our pond and neighboring ponds for the last 8 years if I remember correctly. We have had unseasonable warm weather this year.
