We were excited to see emerging tulips today when we checked our garden. Since they are red, we planted our tulips around our flag pole . We thought this would be a patriotic gesture. We have 10 tulips emerging. As we were walking across the area, a squirrel scampered across the lawn. Since we have several large trees in front of our school, we have been concerned about the squirrels that live in them. Our temperature has been in the mid 40's and is forecasted to remain in that range for the remainder of the week.
