Taylor Boettcher,one of my students,reported that his dad began tapping their 640 trees on Monday.The weather here has been in the 40's for the last week with temps. reaching 50degrees a couple days.A cold front is moving in though and highs by Sunday are expected to reach only the mid-20's.
