I e-mailed a report several weeks ago stating that I had not seen monarchs after a cold front between Christmas and New Years. Today one of the teachers at my school told me that she had monarch caterpillars on her milkweek this week. I din't think the spring migration has started this early so we must have at least a few monarchs overwintering in the New Orleans area. Janice Catledge
