Yesterday I received an e-mail from a butterfly enthusiast
who this past Saturday (Feb. 16) was driving north across the
Pontchartrain Causeway linking New Orleans with Covington. She stated
that during the 30 minute trip she and her husband spotted at least 14
monarchs flying northward! Here's her note:
"We were returning to the Northshore today about 2:00Pm and we counted at
least 14 Monarch Butterflies on our trip over the Causeway.
After whar happened in Mexico, I was so excited to see them."
