My class and I wrote a mini-grant to put in three small butterfly gardens on our school grounds. I had heard of the Journey North project in a teacher workshop a couple of years ago and wanted to begin to participate in the program. I realize we're on the far eastern edge of the migration path, but wanted to give it a try anyway.
