Went the weekend before to Iona Island in rockland county to look for Bald eagle. Fianally saw it flying along the hudson by the Bear mountain bride south to Iona Island. It was amazing!
Saw it sitting on a tree limb on the way home on rt 9w across from where the island is. Stopped traffic to snap a picture.
The on Saturday afternoon, was pulling out of my complex on Washburn Lane in stony point and heard a Bald eagle chirp! looked up and it was flying in circles for aabout 3-4 minutes then flew north back towards Bear mountain! Been wanting to see a Bald eagle in the wild my whole life and after searching for so long I WAS BLESSED TO SEE IT 3 times in 6 days!
Also saw a Juvinile Bald eagle on Sunday at the island, which was neat! Thank you very much for reading this!
