At approximately 5 P.M., I looked out my bedroom window to a wonderful sighting of 20 -30 birds. Most were Cardinals, which were alternating from the pear tree to the ground. In the midst of the Cardinals I saw what appeared to be a Robin at a glance, then I realized that it wasn't a Robin at all, but it was an Orchard Oriole. Consequently, I continued to observe and was able to identify 2 more of these beautiful birds. I certainly hope to witness some nest building by this species. The temp. was around 35 degrees Fahrenheit with snow flurries. I was very disappointed that I didn't have my digital camera. Thanks!
