Our backyard has vegitation that I have planted to attract hummingbirds and butterflys. we have a sprinkler system along our fence that attracts birds as it runs. Although we are located in a area with a lot of homes , our back yard backs up to a utility easement and several acres of undeveloped land. we have seen a giant wood pecker and would love to find a way to preserve the land. It is a beutful overgrown spot that attracts all kinds of birds and being so close to Lake Houston, the area is prime for many variety of animals. Thanks, Gloria
