This was my first sighting of a red wing blackbird here in Fort Wayne, IN for the season. Two weeks earlier when I was in West Lafayette, IN (about 3 hrs. southwest of Fort Wayne) I saw two red winged blackbirds. Since then we had two winter storms come through and the temperatures dropped drastically. The birds disappeared until today!!!
