Out of the fifty tulip bulbs we planted on October 12th, 2001, thirty-five are beginning to sprout. The sizes of the sprouting bulbs range 1 centimeter to 7.5 centimeters. The weather in the Harrington Middle School area has been fluctuating from moderately cold to abnormally warm for the season.
