At approximately 5:00 P.M. I was walking a heard rustling in the leaves in a wooded area where I walk my dog. As I watched the leaves closely, I realized it was a flock of robins raising the leaves and pecking the ground. I stood very still and saw that they were all on the ground, and there was about fifty going from place to place. The temperature was 36 degrees. I have watched with my class in West Milford, but have not seen a single robin. I was very surprised to see so many on the ground.
