I am a butterfly gardener and lover of butterflies. This project is of great interest to me. Certainly, the monarch has lots of 'friends' willing to devote their time and efforts to this wonderful cause.Before I get involved in a project I like to know what the goals are; the way of measuring the success of the project; and when the results will be recorded. Looking forward to a great summer of monarchs.
>A few years ago, while living in Auckland, New Zealand during an infestation of tussock moths, I raised over 350 monarchs inside my home and over 1000 the following year (outside) to help restore the population of this exotic, but very popular butterfly in my temporary country of residence.
