Milkweeds have not even put out
leaves yet nor Tecoma by them. Had late freeze last week that has
damaged butterfly bushes as well. Even Mex. mint marigold went brown and
usually stay green. Even Santolina has about died and have had for 5
years or more.
Had tuberosa and curvaci milkweeds. In Jan found a dead monarch on
plants. Have had yellow butterflies and small orange and black ones at
times. Some mums still had flowers and spiderwort have been putting out
flowers. Sopanaria has had flowers. Have been letting some milkweeds
weeds come up and dandelions so critters can feed.
