I live in Mission, TX (on the border).

We have had milkweed all winter and have BLOOMING milkweed now (3/11/02). ( Dating 1/1/02 to show all winter.). Our growing season is different down here. I think the milkweed does better in the winter than the summer.

We have also seen 3 or 4 adults in the 2nd week of February (est. 2/15/02), but so far have no eggs on our plants.

We had larva in December, watched as the adults flew south, and prayed they would safely make it.
