Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/15/2002

Number: 1

Last night, Tuesday, March 12, at around 5 pm I saw at least five Monarchs.
They fly in and out of our palm trees so it's hard to tell how many there
really are. But I did see 5 at one time. These are the first I've seen in
several weeks. I live on the far east side of Galveston
Island. I live in one of the two high rise condos here. Our building faces
the Gulf, and it has a garden of palm trees and flowers between it and the
sand. I walk on the beach every day.
