We are a retired couple living in Scottsdale, AZ. Neither of us have been teachers, but we love Monarchs and would like to participate in the Monarch watch program. We have a "Passiflora Pfordtii" in our yard that attracts Monarchs each spring. They lay their larva and it feeds on the leaves of the plant. Most years we sight more Monarchs than we can count on the bush but last year we only saw about ten.
