Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/18/2002

Number: 1

Thought I'd let you know that there are 6-8 Monarchs here at the Stengl "Lost Pines" Biological Station today, Monday, March 18th. The big attraction is the pear tree that is in full bloom. These are the first migrants that I've seen, although I've been seeing the odd single butterfly at various times throughout the winter.
