The Eagle was perched in a mature maple tree. I had noticed it when we drove by. We doubled back to check it out and it flew away. It has been seen roosting there over the past 6-8 years by both my Mother and Father and Brother. The area is kind of scrub ground and rolling. Nearby this particular tree is some chicken manure that is piled to compost from a local farmer.Both my children were in awe of this magnificent creature.
