The tulips third graders at McKnight Elementary planted are just emerging through the straw mulch. Only about 20 of the 125 bulbs have emerged. Temperatures have been as high 70 for a few days then back down below freezing. Today the high was near 60. We are hoping to see a few blossoms when we return April 3 from our spring break.
