Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/22/2002

Number: 1

On my way to school this morning I spotted a fat male robin atop a tree in town. It looked a little agitated as a magpie was spying from a rooftop nearby. I watched it for a while but it did not sing. We have had a series of very sunny warm days after a big snow storm. Our nights have been around or below zero but the days have been warm, maybe even in the 40's in town. We are at 8,888 feet above sea level so I was surprised to see him. Hooray, We don't usually have too many signs of spring in spring's first few days.
