While doing a bird survey at Gov. Canyou State Wildlife Area in San Antonio March 19, saw 4 very large monarchs in good condition. Didn't notice which direction they were flying. Also saw 2 more that afternoon at Friedrich Park, then 2 more at Eisenhower Park in the early evening. All were in good condition and were very large.
