Our tulips were attacked by the local herd of deer (about 14)that spends mornings and evenings in our school yard. They chewed on the greenery and made all the plants look sad and raggedy. Do you think that may have delayed the blooming? We had had some very warm weather right up until March 16, then we had a two day snow storm. But there were the blooms on the first day of spring!
