At lunchtime on our last day of school before a two week spring break, one of the students spotted a group of robins on our soccer field outside the cafeteria. Many of the first graders jumped out of their seats to get a better long. We counted between nine and twelve. They seemed to be searching for worms on the grassy area near the building not covered by snow, but we didn't see any worms. Hopefully, we'll see lots of worms and hear some singing when we return from spring break on April 8th!
