My friend and I were fishing on Lake Tenkiller in Vian, OK. Today we saw several pairs of Loons. I was not aware that they migrated this far south. Will they stay? Are they protected birds? This is a very busy lake with fishermen, ski boats, etc... We also have Bald Eagles.
