I am not a school teacher; however I live on a farm in central Iowa that has lots of trees and is an ideal spot for the monarch butterfly.
>Our farm has been a safe haven for them for years with each year turning the sky and tree-line here into a brilliant orange with thousands upon thousands making their stop here. Our family has been intrigued in watching the fragile creatures make their long journies north and south each year.
>After hearing about the grim details of as many as 80-percent of the population perishing in the cold January storm in Mexico; I am more than ever interested in assisting with any data that I might be able to provide to help study the numbers better. I look forward to participating and so do my family (wife, 1st.grade daughter, and young son).
