We were wondering if any others with farm/residential ponds have experienced what we have this season. Our pond is 70 feet diameterX8feet deep. For years we have recorded our ice out date like clockwork March 23,give or take a day, never to refreeze again all season. This year we had a complete thaw March 9 only to refreeze very thick and then complete thaw again on the 13th,only to refreeze again which it still is as of the 26th!
