Duval County Park, 5 miles south of Benavides, Tx. March 22, 2002. Friday between 10 and 11 a.m. 55+ Monarchs, mostly flying and hovering around oak and mesquite trees along grassy watercourse. One was caught and eaten by a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.
